Agape Outreach Ministry (Malawi)

Dennis and Sheila from Hampshire spend 6
months of the year in Malawai,
ministering to people from the very poor African country. They work
closely with their dear friends Syford and Elizabeth, and Edward.
Their main areas of focus are;
- Bible based teaching
- Evangilism - Showing the Jesus Film
- Childrens Work
- Home Based Care
- Farming Projects - growing Maize, keeping Chickens and Goats
We pray that this work in Malawi will continue to be honouring to God and that it will be truly blessed.
If you would like to know more about this work, please contact us or speak to one of the congregation

Update 11th Aug 2011
Dear Praying Friends
You may remember from our prayer update on 23 July that we planned to leave for Malawi on 12 August for a 2 month visit.
Saturday 23 July 2011
Dear Praying Friends
We just want to update you on the present position relating to the new vehicle and other aspects of Agape Outreach Ministry (Malawi) because we greatly value your earnest prayers please at this difficult time.
Since we last wrote to you in June, efforts have been continuing to progress the registration of AOM at a national level in order that we can arrange for the release of our new vehicle. However, there is now an increasingly difficult and volatile political situation in Malawi. Last week the media reported that 18 people were shot dead by police during demonstrations. This political turmoil is adding to the complications of releasing our new vehicle. In addition to this, very sadly the 9 year old son of one of the men responsible for approving our application was killed in a car accident a week ago.
Prayer Update 20 June 2011
Dear Praying Friends,
It is just a couple of days before we return to the UK after a very challenging couple of months and at times very stressful. However, we have also been very conscious of the Lord’s wonderful goodness to us in different ways. Thank you so much for your prayers. We know that many of you have been keeping up to date by text messages and also Linda Fox has very kindly sent you email updates from time to time.
